Testimonials

"There was just nothing bad you could say about their performance except that we all could have listened to another hour, in a pub setting, so we could all dance and laugh. No-one was prepared to out themselves in some dark corner to not take away from the excellent gig we were all enjoying. A great performance by all five members – drums, keys, back up vox, saxophone, tambourine and guitar. Go see them for a fantastic night out. Highly recommended and you won’t be disappointed!"

"Inspired by an eclectic taste in genres, Jones draws influence from Mumford and Sons to the classics such as Billy Joel to David Bowie, all showcasing a songwriting depth that can be heard in Jones' own style."

Here is a young guy (@aspyjones on Instagram) who inspires me. He tells stories of his challenges as a young man getting on in this world living with Asperger's. His music is very fresh, new & original and brings you right in... then you start to really listen to his lyrics. He plays 'Gigs' several times a week around South East Queensland and often supports charities with his music. He's grown so much and to speak to him you can't help but like him. He's a true artist. He tells stories, but doesn't 'protest' or 'complain' he just communicates like a John Lennon or a Leonard Cohen. I listen to him regularly on Spotify and truly believe he can be a big success internationally. His name is Ethan, 'Aspy' is his stage name. Have a listen you'll be quite surprised.

"Rock musician Aspy Jones has overcome a lot in his life. Aspy has Autism and high level anxiety and he uses that to fuel the music that now sees him labelled one of the most important up and coming musicians on the Sunshine Coast in Australia."
